5 days MC and Japanese dramas...

This whole week I was at home as I got 5 days MC for the removing of my wisdom tooth...there goes my wisdom...lol...so for the past one week, I just slacked at home and watched 5 Japanese dramas...华丽间谍, 双头犬, 吸血鬼男孩, 女仆刑警 and 零秒出手. I must say this 5 Japanese dramas are definitely inside my list of top 10 dramas I have watched this year. Eh...and of course the actresses inside this 5 dramas are all very beautiful...how I wish I was the male lead of all the 5 dramas...

harry potter and the half blood prince....

To be honest, the book is definitely better because it is much more detailed. But to be able to make it into a film, I would give my hats off to the guys behind this movie. What make this the best harry potter movie, it has to be the sense of humor in the movie. The funniest moment for me is the part where Ron Weasley was losing himself due to the effect of the love potion. This movie was more than I have expected, but I would have love to see the scene where Harry kiss Ginny after Gryffindor defeated Ravenclaw 450-140 in a Quidditch game to determine who will win the silver cup. In the book, that was the very 1st kiss between Harry and Ginny. I can't wait for the final movie - "harry potter and the deathly hallows". But 1st, I'll will reread book 6, then follow by book 7 in order to let all my memories come back before I go and watch the final chapter in an amazing tale.......

I had finished watching 王子看见二公主. I must say it is the best Taiwanese drama I have watch in my life so far. I really love the chemistry between 郭品超(宁焕宇) and 陈庭妮(赵克柔). Episode 13 onwards till the last episode 16, I thank God that both 宁焕宇 and 赵克柔 have finally begin to express their feelings towards each other. I especially love episode 13, the part where 宁焕宇 express his love towards 赵克柔 on the stage on the day of their clothes presentation. I had finished watching episode 12. Going to watch episode 13 soon. Been really frustrated with the lead actor and actress in the drama. 郭品超(宁焕宇) and 陈庭妮(赵克柔). Why can't they just admit that they are so deeply in love with one another.....Why must 赵克柔 hide her feelings from 宁焕宇 and ask him to go after her sister.....Why must 宁焕宇 obediently follows what 赵克柔 says and went after her sister and not be a man and says that 赵克柔 is the girl he truly love.....Why, tell me why.....damn it.....I pray that it will have a happy ending which is 宁焕宇 and 赵克柔 will be married together and live happily ever after. Amen.

Circle Line........Jerseys......

I took the Circle Line yesterday from Bishan to Lorong Chuan. To my surprise, it is just only one stop. I think from tomorrow onwards, I'll be taking MRT from Lorong Chuan to Bishan, then from Bishan to Woodlands. Before I went to Bishan yesterday, I was at Peninsula Plaza shopping for jerseys. I bought the new England jersey and the 08/09 Barcelona jersey. I also brought along my Manchester United jersey to print Ronaldo name on it. I'm not sure whether I'll see another World Player of the Year from Manchester United again till the day of my existence.

Yesterday....23rd June 2009

Yesterday was a day to be forgotten and remember. To be forgotten because of what happened in the early morning yesterday. I was on my way to the AMK (Ang Mo Kio) MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station, I boarded bus no.135, I alighted at the AMK Hub interchange. Upon alighting, I accidentally stepped on the high heels of a middle age lady. I immediately said sorry. But then I noticed she stare at me and immediately I know her high heels had been damaged. The next things most people do would be to ask how much is the high heels and compensate the lady. But, I just said I am very sorry and just continue on my journey towards the AMK MRT station. As I was walking, I think back on what had just happened……and I should have done what most people would have done. And this morning…….eh……bus no.135 arrived at my bus stop, I wanted to board the bus, but then I noticed the same lady from yesterday was in the bus, so I decided to take another bus. Eh…….I thinks I will do the same for the coming few months or even years. All right, now for the thing to remember yesterday, it is the movie that I watch with my colleagues aka friends, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. I have to admit, this is definitely the best action movie I have seen this year. This movie consists of action, comedy and a little bit of sadness towards the finale. From the word go, it is all about action, action and action. Throughout the movie, there are a lot of humorous scenes between robots and human or robots and robots. There are also a lot of new Autobots and Decepticons. The funniest scenes will be those scenes having the two new Autobots who are “twins”, the very tiny Decepticon who can transform into a toy monstrous truck and the scene between a US soldier and a man send by the US president before parachuting off the plane. The touching moment would be how Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots sacrifice itself to save Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and also how an old, ancient Decepticon who switches sides and transfer his “life force” to Optimus Prime in order to defeat the Fallen, the only Prime that is still alive other than Optimus Prime. And last but not least, the babe of this movie……….Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox)………oh my God, she is way too hot and sexy. I especially like the first scene of her doing maintenance to a bike. What can I say man, I think I got the hot for girls who aren’t afraid to get themselves all dirty and greasy in the garage. The action in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” is definitely gonna beat “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”. But I think “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has a better and stronger story line. And there will also be a lot of kissing scenes in the sixth installment of the Harry Potter series. We will witness a new love between Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright), and the love between Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) will grow stronger than ever. And last but not least, the finale will be the death of Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon), follow by his funeral. It will be the darkest moment in the history of Hogwarts. Alright….I can’t wait to watch “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, and will be looking forward to the third installment of the Transformer movie and the seventh and last installment of the Harry Potter series. Phew………getting really exited as I’m typing my blog……..

What a week..........

What a week it has been.......I just finished my common test on "Engineering Mathematics C" today, yesterday was "Mechanical Design", and the day before yesterday was "Applied Mechanics 2". Phew......3 common test in a row......thank God tomorrow is weekend. It is time to relax and play Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii.......But.......another sad thing happened this week......Ronaldo of Manchester United had join Real Madrid in a 80 millions pound world record fee.......sobbing.......weeping.......so long Ronaldo. Well, as least I was there at Old Trafford on the 29th Dec 2008 to watch him play for Manchester United against Boro, Man U won 1 nil. A new era will begin for the red half of Manchester. As for me, a new era will begin for me too, after my 2 weeks break, it will be time to prepare for my exams.........sign.........

Roger Federer.........

Finally, he has win all four of the Grand Slam in the world of tennis. Congratulation to Roger Federer. Next up will be Wimbledon for Roger Federer. Well, as for me, next up will be three days of common test this coming week. I pray that God will guide me through this coming week. Amen.

French Open Final 2009......

My wish of a dream final between Roger Federer and Robin Soderling has come true. If only my wish of winning the Chinese New Year TOTO or the Euro Millions can come true......haha.......Both Roger Federer and Robin Soderling overcome their semi-finals in 5 sets over Juan Martin Del Potro and Fernando Gonzalez respectively. So, it come down to this, can Roger Federer be the 1st guy since Andre Agassi in this era to win all 4 Grand Slam. Or, will it be Robin Soderling, a guy who defeated 4 times champion and world no.1, Rafael Nadal, and reach a Grand Slam final for the 1st time in his career? Who is going the win........a Swiss or a Swede......COME ON........game on.......come Sunday, there will be a new winner for the 1st time in 5 years. Phew......I can't wait.........

Roger Federer just defeated Tommy Haas of Germany in 5 sets. Roger Federer was down 2 sets to love, then turn on the style to win in 5 sets. Its one of the best match I seen this year, two of them play the back-hand one handed, its like Roger Federer is playing himself. Well, I am hoping for a Roger Federer versus Robin Soderling final. Fingers cross........

French Open 31st May 2009.....

Rafael Nadal who has never lose in Roland Garros since he started his career, winning the French Open in the last 4 years. Remember this name, Robin Soderling, he had just defeated Rafael Nadal in the 4th round of the French Open 2009. So this year there's going to be a new winner other that Rafael Nadal.

Orlando Magic through to face LA Lakers in NBA Finals 2009................

It is end of the road for LeBron "KING" James. It is not going to be a NBA Finals that everyone wish for, but it is going to be a NBA Finals that everyone will be looking forward to. Dwight "SUPERMAN" Howard's Orlando Magic defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers this morning (Singapore time) by final score of 103-90, winning the series 4 games to 2. Orlando Magic had previously knocked out the defending champions Boston Celtics, and now they have knocked out this year no.1 seed in the NBA Playoffs 2009, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Next, they will face the no.2 seed in this year NBA Playoffs, the LA Lakers. OH MY GOD.......this is going to be a mouth watering clash. Who is going to be the NBA Champions for 2009?

LA Lakers through to NBA Finals 2009...........

The Lakers has eliminated the Denver Nuggets in game 6 of the Western Conference Final by a score of 119-92, winning the series 4 games to 2. Now they will await the winner of the Eastern Conference Final. The Lakers lead by Kobe Bryant master tactician Phil Jackson is definitely going to be the team to beat. So, will it be Cleveland Cavaliers or the Orlando Magic? Cleveland are trailing 3 games to 2. Oh my God, I can't wait for the NBA Finals.

Barcelona 2, Man Utd 0.........

Manchester United has lost to Barcelona by 2 goals to nil. To be true, the goals conceded were soft. The 1st goal was Barcelona 1st attack of the game. One shot, one goal. The 2nd goal was a header by Messi. All I can say is, the best defense has lose to a stronger attack. Let hope that no one leaves this team, and Manchester United will challenge for the Champions league for many many years to come. The gladiators of Manchester were defeated in Rome, but we will be back again next year. Trust me. Weeping...........By the way, congratulation to Barcelona for completing the treble, and Park Ji-sung for being the 1st Asian to play in a champions league final. We lost today, but we will be back next season. Let us look forward to next season. (PS: Man Utd fans, please try to endure all the insult from the Red half of the Merseyside. It will last for months to come.) Sobbing..........

Elevators in MRT stations...

Why can't Singaporean be like Taiwanese or Englishmen......During my trip to Taipei and London, the people there will stand at one side of the elevator and leave the other side empty for people in a hurry. But in Singapore, people just don't care, can't be bother and stand at either side of the elevator, blocking those people rushing for work. We really need to learn from this countries on what is called simple courtesy.

Champions League Final 2009...

Park Ji-sung will become the 1st Asian to play in a champions league final. As a fellow Asian and Manchester United supporter, I am very proud of his achievement. Mark my words, 27th May 2009 is going to be a day that we will never forget. Man U will make history by becoming the 1st team in history to retain the champions league. Will Park Ji-sung make history in becoming the 1st Asian to score in a champions league final...

The headlines on the 28th May 2009 on "The New Paper" will be, "1st Asian to score...and it is the winning GOALLLLLLLLL".

I am trembling with excitement typing this post...phew...I can't wait.

Tutorial Quiz....

Just received my Engineering Mathematics C(EMC)tutorial quiz, I got a 21 out of 30 marks. This is definitely not my ideal mark. Never mind, next Friday will be my 1st quiz for EMC. Hopefully I can get a better result than my tutorial quiz. All right then, tomorrow I will go to Ang Mo Kio library and try to squeeze as much as possible into my brain. Just like what Ya Hui is doing at the moment. By the way, all the best in your studies, Ya Hui.

A colleague from my department...

He is the worst co-worker that I have worked with. People tell him things should be done this way, but he will do things his own way. And when things go wrong, most of it is connected to him. And also he is the 1st guy in the history of my company (Life Technologies) to use up his medical certificate (MC) in less than 5 months. And it so happen that this morning, the Quality Assurance (QA) team found that one of our units was not properly assembled. The fault found on this unit was done by him at the final assembly. He just have to spend less than 2 seconds to visual check, but he also did not put in 100% effort to check. If I was the supervisor in charge of him, I would have report it to my immediate superior. Seriously I have no idea why he still here, the number of mistake that he committed is are repeated mistake. I have tried to forgive and forget him far too many times that I have enough of him. I am not God. Only God is forgiving enough to forgive people 7 seventy times (quote from the holy bible). But he is still young. I hope that he will change his attitude towards work.

H1N1 in Japan...

I am planning to go to Taipei for a holiday on Sep 2009 with my family, and also to Bali on Oct 2009 with my friends, and also to Japan to see the sakura on Apr 2010 with my friends. But this H1N1 thing really scares me. It was suppose to be in control, but suddenly, it start to spread rapidly in Japan. Hopefully it will be in control again before my trip to Taipei. God help us all. Amen.

NBA Playoffs 2009...

Which team is gonna win the NBA playoffs? We have Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference final, and Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference final. Well, for me, I hope to see LeBron James up against Kobe Bryant in the NBA Finals. Both of their game plays are quite similar, they can both shoot almost from anywhere, they are always double team and triple team, when the odds are against you, they are the one their team can depend on. Oh, I can't wait for this dream final.

Manchester United have just won the BPL. 3rd time in a row. No English club had done that before.
